Three construction workers died after falling from an under-construction building in front of Khulna Government Women’s College at Boyra in Khulna city on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Rabbi, 27, Ashraful, 30 and Mamun, 25.

Sumon Mandal, sub-inspector of Sonadanga Model Police Station, said eight workers including the victims were working on the 4th floor of the ten-story under-construction building of the Tax Commissioner Office with a bamboo-made scaffold outside the building, said officer-in-charge of Sonadanga Police Station.

At one stage, three workers fell to the ground.

Later, they were taken to Khulna Medical College and Hospital where the doctors declared them dead.
